    Field Trip to California Academy of Sciences
    Tomorrow

    Dear Parents,

    Our field trip is on Friday. Please remember to have your child arrive at school on time, 8:05. Attendance will be taken and groups will be assigned to chaperones. We will be taking school buses to San Francisco. The buses are scheduled to leave approximately at 8:15am and return at 2:15pm.
    Each child must bring a bag of snack, lunch, and bottles of water with name written on the bags and bottles. Everything should be disposable. Parent chaperones will store lunches in their backpacks.
    Students will need to come to school wearing their class t-shirts over their school clothes (and under their jacket). All students should dress in layers, wear a jacket, and comfortable walking shoes with socks. If rain is forecasted, please wear a raincoat and bring an umbrella

    *Parent Chaperones-Please bring your own lunch and backpack to store a maximum of five student’s lunches. We will meet in the classroom at 8:05. Classes will begin heading towards the bus stop at 8:15. Thank you for your time.

City Hall Field Trip Reminder


Tomorrow (May 28) is our walking/VTA field trip to San Jose City Hall.  Please make sure your student has a disposable bag lunch with their name on it and nothing breakable inside, comfortable shoes, a hat, and their class t-shirt.  Please check the weather to determine if a sweater is needed.  We will leave immediately after taking roll and return at approximately 2:00.  Remind your student that we are representing Ruskin School and need to be on our best behavior.  It should be a great opportunity to learn more about our local government.
