  • Math: 11-8, Test chapter 11: cylinder, edge, face, hexagon, side, parallelogram, pyramid, rectangle, vertex, cone, solid shape, plane shape, rectangular prism
  • Report topic: A Day All My Own (in paragraph format, 10+ sentences, 4+ words/sentence, name, date, title, indentation, space between words and punctuation marks, 1 to 3 adjectives, topic sentence, conclusion sentence, vary your sentence, no more than 3 misspelling words.)
  • Penmanship: Yy 
  • Wordly Wise: cumulative lessons 1-4: weigh, flap, muscle, support, bounce, groom, cavern, claw, shelter, chimney
Notes
  • Parents/teacher conference Week. You can check out your conference time on our class website under "dates to remember" link. School dismisses at 1 P.M.
  • Top 3 classes will win Popsicle party. Make a Difference raffle information and envelope are sent home. Tickets are $4 each (Ruskin gets $2.00 for each ticket sold!) All the monies earned will go to our beloved Science Lab.
  • Monday, March 24: field trip to Oakland Zoo.

     Oakland Zoo Field Trip Reminder                


Dear Parents,
     We are excited about our field trip to the Oakland Zoo on Monday, March 24!  Please mark your calendars.  
  • If your child is bringing a lunch, please put it in a disposable bag.
  • Students should wear their class t-shirts, comfortable shoes, and bring a light jacket.
  • We will be leaving promptly at 8:30 and returning at @ 2:00.
  • Chaperones have been contacted.  Information to them will be provided by each teacher.
