• Math: 100th birthday celebration: write explanations and show work by drawing pictures, number sentences (equation), and words sentences. Students were assigned either "Accessible" or "Challenging" problem but they can do both if time permits.
• Report topic: My Friends (in paragraph format, 10+ sentences, 4+ words/sentence, name, date, title, indentation, space between words and punctuation marks, 1 to 3 adjectives, topic sentence, conclusion sentence, vary your sentence, no more than 3 misspelling words.)
• Penmanship: "Politeness...friends." 

• Wordly Wise: cumulative lessons 1-12: gazing, tower, story, attention, fangs, fierce, boars, rare, spades, journey, beside, fuel
